14: Southern District experiences several Residential Burglaries
within the last several weeks.
Throughout the last several weeks, the Anne Arundel County Police
Department Southern District has investigated several residential
burglaries occurring during daytime hours. We would like to alert
our residents that suspects committing these types of crimes will
typically knock on the door of a potential victim, before attempting
to enter the home. If confronted by a homeowner, it’s common for
these suspects to ask for a fictitious person or provide another
reason for being there. They are also very likely to park a vehicle
in a victim’s driveway. We are asking that if this type of suspicious
activity occurs, to please call 911 immediately, and provide the
following information to the 911 operator:
1)
Description of Person (ie. Race, Gender, Clothing, Facial features,
Hair color and Length, etc).
2) Vehicle information (ie. Tag #, Vehicle Make, Model Name, Color,
Identifying Characteristics, as well as direction of travel.
If
you have experienced this type of suspicious behavior in the recent
past, please call Detective Mark Ottey @ 410-222-1960.

regarding dogs running at large on the beach or throughout the
community. Please read the leash
laws.

- BBCA
has gone"Green and Electronic." With the new
changes at the post office BBCA will no longer be able to mail
out the quarterly newsletters to every resident. The post office
has changed their procedures. To send bulk mail we will now have
to go to Millersville to send out mail. So the BBCA Board of Directors
thought it was time to "Go Green" and not only save
trees but also money.
We are asking all residents to join the BBCA Mail List to receive
updates on community matters and newsletters. You can join at
our Mailing List page.
For residents that do not have email or a computer we will provide
"pick up" points for the newsletters around the community.
A notification will be put up at the Community entrance announcing
that newsletters are available.
For questions, please send your emails to Info@BeverlyBeach.org.
